My name is Jeffrey Mauro. It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you!

I have two children and one grandson. I have been married to my wonderful wife Debbie for 33 years.  I'd like to tell you a little about myself and how I came into the construction industry. My father was a cabinet maker. As a result, while I was growing up I played mostly with tools and not toys. I was always there to lend a hand and learned what my father was doing at all times. He always gave me little projects to do for him because I loved working with him and working with wood. In 1973 I started a part time job with a local New Jersey Home Builder. The company was Brown and Glen Construction Company. Working with them I began to learn all the aspects of building a home. I worked in the field for them on several homes and worked on many remodeling projects. In 1977 I was married. It was then that I built my first home - my personal home! I began several big remodeling projects for friends and family. In the latter part of 1977 I decided that remodeling and home building was something that I truly loved doing. Working with people to bring their ideas into a new home, and finding ways to make their dreams come true became my passion. By the end of 1977 I had my own business - Mauro Builders located in New Jersey.

Mauro Builders started out small, but as the years went on it became bigger and better.  Our reputation grew. Mauro Builders was a full service company with four trucks on the road and up to 15 employees. Most of the time we were on a seven day work schedule. We did custom home building, additions, total renovations, remodeling, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, roofs, and so much more. My wife Debbie played a large part behind the scenes in our business. She made all the appointments, dealt with customer service, placed all materials orders, did all the paper work, communicated with the employees and then some! To this day she remains involved in the day-to-day management of our business. In April 2001 my wife Debbie and I moved into our new home located in Palm Coast, Florida. We began our business in Palm Coast on a smaller scale. We named our new business Coastal Remodeling. Initially, Coastal Remodeling specialized in all smaller projects. Within a short time Coastal Remodeling became very successful, so we decided it was time to take our business to the next level. We then became Coastal Remodeling LLC and Custom Homes. 

  Today we are a full services remodeling and custom home builder.

My wife Debbie & I  are committed to building a better home to a higher standard in all areas. It is our policy to build only a few homes at a time so that we can personally oversee and have "hands on" with each project. I want to introduce a philosophy of integrity and excellence to all clients that want to build a custom home. Debbie and I enjoy working hand-in-hand with each client, keeping them informed at every step of the process to keep them as involved in the process as possible. This lets our clients enjoy a home that is truly theirs, created with their vision and input, and fueled by their ideas and imagination. By doing this, I believe the end product is much more satisfying. It makes the entire custom home building or home addition, renovation or the simplest kitchen and bathroom remodeling process a rewarding and enjoyable experience!

My Wife Debbie  has also been involved in the construction business for over 32 years. Her professional expertise in the industry of construction pertains to her skills in office management, customer relations and interior design. These are just a few of the talents that help her make our team run smoothly and efficiently.
